IMPORTANT - do NOT plug in the PCI
card until the PPG application has
been installed.
Web download and installation
To download the latest version of the
PPG application, please click on
"Download PPG Application" from below
link:
• IMPORTANT
- note if you already have
the PPG application installed, please
see the update page.
• DO NOT plug in your PPG card.
• Go to the directory where you
downloaded the file.
• Double click on the file you
downloaded.
• Follow the install procedure.
CAUTION: DO NOT PLUG IN THE PPG CARD
AT FIRST.
NOTE: Your serial number is on the
metal bracket of the PPG Card.
1. Download PPG Application setup
(“PPGApplication.zip”) from above
link.
Unzip the "PPGApplication.zip" file.
If you need a zip utility program
please go to
http://www.winzip.com. (If
installing from CD-ROM, setup will
start automatically.)
2. Run the “PPGApplication.exe”.
IMPORTANT – run the CD FIRST, DO NOT
plug your PPG Card in.
3. You will need the serial number
from the PCI card bracket to install
the PPG application.
4. Follow the instruction on screen.
5. Click “Finish” button to end the
installation.
6. Shut down your PC.
7. Insert the Personal Gateway PCI
card into your computer PCI slot.
8. Plug you telephone line into the
socket labeled “Line” on the card
mounting bracket.
9. Now, turn on you PC.
10. Ensure your PC is connected to the
Internet directly (if you are on a LAN
via a router, please see the note at
below *)
11. PPG wizard will now run, answer
the questions to set up your gateway.
IMPORTANT – email address you choose
for your PPG Card has to be different
from you Super USB Phone email
address.
12. When finished, your gateway is
ready to take calls.
Once the PPG software installation is
complete, switch off your PC plug the
Personal Phone Gateway PCI card into
your PC and switch you PC back on, the
appropriate drivers will be installed.
