Checking that your ports are open

In order for your PPG to work, ports 1720 and 6667 to the Internet need to be open.

Below is the port status for your computer.

Important note: Run this test on the PC with your PPG installed and running.

Port 1720 status:

N/A

Port 6667 status:

N/A


Note: This test will take ~ 20 seconds to run. If there is no display after 40 seconds then the test may not be able to be run on your PC as the ports are closed.

If your ports are closed and you are running Windows XP, check your configuration on Windows XP Firewall.

If you are running a Firewall, to check that the Firewall is blocking your ports, turn it off and see if the ports open. If they do then configure your Firewall to open ports 1720 and 6667.
