1) Q. How to make sure my T1/E1
Gateway is online?
A: Use your PC and do a ping test to
the T1/E1 Gateway’s IP address. For
example, ping 208.55.5.108; if the
gateway is online, you will get a
reply. If your gateway is offline, you
will get a request timeout. Check your
Internet connection if your gateway is
offline.
2) Q. What is an FXO/FXS port of the
gateway?
A: FXO port is use to connect to a PSTN
line and PBX, while FXS port use to
connect to a device such as telephone
and fax machine. If you don’t have the
right port connecting to the device or
line, the system will not be able to
communicate with each others.
3) Q. Can I change the FXO/FXS port of
the gateway?
A: At the purchase time of the T1/E1
Gateway, you must indicate clearly in
the IN-Call form what FXO/FXS port of
the gateway that you will need. After
the purchased, it’ll very difficult to
modify the FXO/FXS port of the gateway
and we will have to charge you for the
service and replacement. Our
technician will have to change the
hardware inside your gateway.
4) Q. Can I change my calling rate?
A: There are few ways to define your
own rate. You may have choice which
fit your need. We may charge you for
extra works.
