If the PC that has your Personal Phone
Gateway (PPG) installed is directly
connected to the Internet then you do
not need to make any configuration
changes and you can skip this page.
If you have a local network (LAN) with
multiple PCs your network will connect
to the Internet using Internet sharing
hardware (router, HomePortal, etc.) or
an Internet sharing application such
as ICS running on a PC - please read
read on.
The PC that has your PPG installed
needs to have port 1720 (also known as
NetMeeting) and port 6667 (also known
as IRC server) directed to it from
your Internet sharing hardware or
software (HomePortal, router or ICS).
There are various ways to direct ports
1720 and 6667 to the PC with the PPG
installed depending on the Internet
sharing that you use.
Click on the device listed that is
closest to the one that you are using
to share the Internet access for your
LAN or Network. If your router is not
listed please visit the Other routers
section for help.
