You can place calls to regular phone numbers through your Personal Phone Gateway (PPG). You call will travel over the Internet to your PPG and if the call is placed to a number in the local calling area of the phone line to which your PPG is connected, your call will be free - even if you are placing it from the other side of the world!

You can use your own personal PPG or any PPG that the owner has given you permission to use.

When you first install InCall Phone Center there will be a number of demonstration PPGs on your Buddy List that you can use to place calls. Here are the steps:

Step 1:

In your Buddy List, Click on the Add a new Buddy button.

Step 2:

In the dialog box you will see a description of your PPG.
Enter your user name (if required).
Enter your password (if required).
Enter the phone number you wish to call
Click Place a phone call.

Step 3:

In your Buddy List, double click on your PPG.

Step 4:

In the dialog box you will see a description of your PPG.

� Enter your user name (if required).
� Enter your password (if required).
� Enter the phone number you wish to call.
� Click Place a phone call.

Step 5:

When your call connects the in call dialog will "pop-up".

� Adjust the speaker volume for comfortable listening.
� Adjust your Microphone volume so that you see three yellow squares with the occasional red square.
� To send DTMF tones to access voicemail etc. click on the keypad.
� Click Hangup to complete your call.

Step 6:

PPG status:
When your PPG is ready to take a call you will see the PPG icon in your tray and a dialog box above the tray.

PPG icon in your tray (start with a P), if you only have a star and there is no P then your PPG is not on-line.
