FAQ's for Gateway

(1) What IN-Call Gateway System can do for you?
IN-Call Gateway can do calling cards.
IN-Call Gateway will be supported by IN-Call System's billing system.
IN-Call Gateway can be controlled by PC anywhere remotely.

(2) What kind of information do you need to configure the IN-Call Gateway
Please provide your IP addressing from your ISP

We will preprogram for you before the shipment.

(3) What is the procedure after we receive the IN-Call Gateway?
After you receive the Gateway System, we will have the following procedure:
1. Turn on Gateway
2. Test Gateway
3. Make test calls (DSG will issue test account #)
4. Connecting to DSG's GateKeeper
5. Create ITSP account for new DSG Partner
To create ITSP Account for Partners, we need to know how do you want the
rate to be. Standard Rate will be same as the device rate on our website:
www.IN-Call.com
If you need a special rate table for your billing purpose, you need to let us
know ahead of time. A custom rate table will take 1 to 2 weeks working time
and the cost is $800. The easiest way is to base on our rate table to time 2, or
time 3.
6. Test account # and report trouble if there is any.

(4) What is the specification of IN-Call Gateway?

(5) Can we use UPS for power back up?
Yes, UPS is suggested.

(6) Does the Gateway have in-built monitoring of each port?
Yes, IN-Call Gateway software comes with gateway and it allows you to monitor the
status of each port.

(7) What interfaces, if any, we need at our premises to connect to the bandwidth?
You will need one static IP address. RJ45 Ethernet connection. IN-Call Gateway
does not require a lot of bandwidth, but it depends on number of ports. You will need to have network response times of 800ms or less.

(8) How many IN-Call 168 PCI cards can be installed in one set of standard IN-Call Gateway?
One set of standard IN-Call 168 Gateway includes: Industrial computer, PCI cards
and a hard drive. It can install up to10 PCI cards. Each PCI card has 4 ports. Users
can also purchase PCI card separately.

(9) One IN-Call 168 Gateway has 4 ports; it means that we need 4 telephone lines; is
it correct?
Yes, it is correct.

(10) How to solve the problem if the 40 ports have to be distributed and used in 2 or 3
different locations?
Get one Industrial Computer in each location.

(11) Apart from the phone lines and phone sets, is there any other equipment required?
You need to have Internet service with static IP address.

(12) The phone set is just ordinary phone set?
Yes.

(13) What kind of phone line do you suggest for IN-Call Gateway?
A 4-ports Gateway card will use 10K/port, which have max of 10K. Any line such
as: DSL line, ISDN, 128K or lease line will be fine.
